Off Exploring!

Off Exploring!

It’s my first weekend here in Japan and I’m off roaming the areas in Chiba prefecture.  Luckily, Tokyo is not far away (less than an hour by train) and will probably be going there rather frequently.

To the people in Japan or people who have visited Japan, let me know where I should visit (in and around Tokyo) while I’m here!  Feel free to leave me some comments with some recommendations (Japanese is ok too!).

    I’d recommend Edo-Tokyo Museum.
You’ll enjoy and experience Edo period there.
Even Japanese people find it exciting.
It’s close to Ryogoku station. Easy access.
    Not very far from Chiba.
    Nothing americanized!

    Please see the website.

Sorry for this late write in.
I am a fan of Gymnastics.
I recently know that you are in Japan, then am visiting here.

    Your reporting is quite interesting.
I am Japanese and live in Japan, so good to know how foreigners
see Japan. You are half Japanese, though!

I like Nezu, Sendagi, Yanaka area. Those are close together and
you may feel some nostalgic feeling of Japan. There are numbers
of temples and small shops are good to stop by.

I will come back and leave comment when I remind somewhere
good to see in and around Tokyo.

When will you go back to the States?

Oops! Excuse me. You are full Japanese.
I guess I saw your family in Japan Cup 2009.
I was shocked with your accident but am glad to know
that you are recovering from that.

Enjoy staying Japan till your going back to US.
You will know Japan much better than I do.

Looking forward to reading your reports more and more!
